According to its website, Yogi Foods is a partnership firm on Dundas Road, Bhanvad, Mahuva, that has manufactured dehydrated onion and garlic since 2012. It also appears on the exhibitor list for Anuga 2025 in Cologne.

Creston & Co is not affiliated with Yogi Foods. This page is a buyer's guide based on public information.

What Yogi Foods says it makes

Its company website lists dehydrated onion as minced, flakes and granules in white, pink and red, onion powder at 100 mesh, garlic as minced, flakes, granules and powder, and fried onion in coated and non-coated styles. Less common for a plant of its stated size, it also lists toasted onion, both chopped red and white flakes at a medium toast.

The site lists BRCGS with an A+ grade, US FDA registration, Halal and Kosher. It states a staff of 26 to 50 people. Production capacity is not stated, and no export countries are named, although it says it exports. It describes itself as "a leading manufacturer of high-quality dehydrated onion and garlic products"; that is the company's own wording.

What to verify before you order

  • BRCGS A+: the plus sign normally means the site chose an unannounced audit. Ask for the certificate number and confirm the grade, the audit type and the expiry date in the BRCGS directory.
  • US FDA: FDA does not certify food plants. A registration number only shows the facility is registered. Ask for the number, and if you import into the US, check the FDA import alert lists for the firm before you book.
  • Toasted onion: toasting adds a second heat step. Ask for a toasted sample from a recent lot and agree colour, moisture and burnt-particle limits in writing, since toast level varies between batches.
  • Capacity: with no stated volume and a team of 26 to 50, ask how many tonnes a month it can dry and mill in your form, and whether it ever buys finished product from other Mahuva units to fill an order.
  • Kosher and Halal: ask which agency issued each certificate and check the listed products include the ones you are buying.
  • Licences: confirm the Dundas Road address on the FSSAI licence matches the plant you are shown, and test a pre-shipment sample for microbiology, pesticide residues and ETO.

How we help if you want to buy from Yogi Foods

We can contact Yogi Foods for you, visit the Bhanvad plant and audit its drying, toasting and packing areas. We take sealed samples, have them tested at an NABL-accredited lab to your market's limits, check the BRCGS, FDA and religious certificates at their sources, help negotiate terms, supervise loading and check the documents. Our work is covered by one written fee, and you buy directly from Yogi Foods.

If it is not the right fit, we compare it with other manufacturers nearby. For the products, see dehydrated onion. US buyers may also want what FDA facility registration means for your supplier.
