Creston & Company is an Indian sourcing agent that works only for the buyer. We find, test and supervise what you buy from India, and we are paid by you alone.
Most overseas buyers meet India through an agent or trader whose income comes from the factory. As a result, the buyer never learns the factory's real name, never sees the original laboratory report, and discovers problems only when the container is opened.
We built Creston & Company to be the other kind of agent. You pay us a written fee, and every factory name, laboratory certificate and invoice is in your hands. We audit factories on site, test every lot at an accredited laboratory, stand at the container door while it is loaded, and stay on any claim until it is settled.
We are registered with the Government of India for export trade (IEC) and as a small enterprise (Udyam). We work with NABL-accredited laboratories, and with SGS, Bureau Veritas and Intertek whenever you want an independent certificate as well.

The factory never pays us. Most agents in India earn a quiet commission from the mill, so the mill is their real client. We charge you, and only you. You see the factory's real name, the original lab certificate and the supplier's invoice, and every lot is tested against your spec and your market's rules before it is allowed to ship.

What we do not do
- We do not trade on our own account or resell goods to you; you buy from the factory at the contract price
- We do not accept payment, commission or gifts from any factory, and the contract says so
- We do not hide a factory's name, or substitute a factory after you have approved one
- We do not accept a lab report we did not see issued; the laboratory sends the certificate to you
