According to its website, Samved Dehydrated Foods Pvt Ltd manufactures and exports dehydrated products, especially onion and garlic, from Talgajarda-Tared Road in Talgajarda village, Mahuva.
Creston & Co is not affiliated with Samved Dehydrated Foods. This page is a buyer's guide based on public information.
What Samved Dehydrated Foods says it makes
Its company website lists white, red and pink onion and garlic in grades A and B, with sizes given for each cut: powder at 100 to 120 mesh, granules 0.5 to 1 mm, minced 1 to 3 mm and chopped 3 to 5 mm, plus flakes and kibbled onion. It also shows fried onion flakes.
The site says the company handles the whole process from growing to selling overseas, owns agricultural farms for raw material, and has promoters with 5 to 10 years in the onion and garlic trade. It describes an automatic production unit, a quality testing unit, warehousing, and periodic testing at government-approved laboratories. The site is offered in several languages, including Russian, Spanish, Japanese and Polish, and has a purchase order page.
Founding year, capacity, certifications and export markets are not stated. When we checked in October 2026, the site's security certificate had lapsed, so some browsers show a warning before loading it.
What to verify before you order
With few hard facts public, the checks start with the basics:
- Ask which food safety certificates the plant holds, if any, and check each one in its official register (BRCGS directory, FSSC register, or the certification body for ISO 22000).
- Confirm the company's registration, GST number and FSSAI licence, and that the licence address is the Talgajarda-Tared Road plant.
- Ask for evidence of the farms the site mentions: location, area and what share of raw onion and garlic they supply.
- The stated sizes are useful. Put them in your specification with tolerances, and have an independent lab check mesh and particle size along with moisture.
- Confirm contact details by phone or video call before sharing documents or paying, given the lapsed certificate on the website.
- For the US, ask for the FDA food facility registration number. For any market, test a sealed sample for pesticide residues, ETO and salmonella.
