According to its listings on IndiaMART and ExportersIndia, Shivar Dehydrated Products LLP is a Pune business, placed in the Chakan area, that sells dehydrated white and red onion along with other dried vegetables. Unlike most firms in this series it is not in Mahuva but in Maharashtra, close to the Nashik and Pune onion belt.
Creston & Co is not affiliated with Shivar Dehydrated Products. This page is a buyer's guide based on public information.
What Shivar Dehydrated Products says it makes
Its IndiaMART listing shows dehydrated red onion as granules, flakes and chopped, white onion as chopped, minced and granules, garlic cloves, potato, potato powder, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, tomato powder and carrot. Packing is given as poly bags, cartons and aluminium foil bags. We found no company website.
The listings do not agree on what the business is. Some directory entries describe it as a manufacturer established in 2015. The same IndiaMART page now appears under the name Urban Veggies, describes the seller as a trader and retailer, and gives about ten years in business, with the Shivar LLP name on one product. ExportersIndia places it in Chakan with about eight years listed. No certifications beyond GST registration are listed, and capacity, plant address and export history are not stated.
What to verify before you order
- Manufacturer or trader: the listing describes trading and retail, so ask whether it runs its own dryer, where it is, and which plant would produce your lot.
- Legal entity: ask for the LLP registration, the IEC and the FSSAI licence, and check that they name Shivar Dehydrated Products LLP and the same Chakan address. Note how Urban Veggies relates to it.
- Food safety certification: none is listed. If your customers require BRCGS, FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000, ask directly, and expect to rely on a plant audit and lab testing if there is none.
- Export readiness: ask whether it has exported before, to which markets, and who prepares the phytosanitary certificate and export documents.
- Product focus: with potato, tomato and leafy items on the same list, ask how onion is separated from other products in drying and packing.
- Testing: test moisture, microbiology, pesticide residues and ETO on a pre-shipment sample. For the US, an FDA facility registration is needed for the producing plant.
How we help if you want to buy from Shivar Dehydrated Products
We can contact the firm on your behalf, visit Chakan to establish whether drying happens there, and audit whichever plant would make your onion. We collect sealed samples for an NABL-accredited lab, check its registrations, negotiate terms, supervise loading and check the export documents, for one written fee agreed in advance. You buy directly from the company.
For a buyer who needs certified export volume, we can also compare it with other manufacturers, including larger plants in Mahuva. See dehydrated onion for the forms we source, and trader vs processor for dehydrated onion for the questions that separate the two.
If you represent Shivar Dehydrated Products and something here is out of date, contact us and we will correct it.
