What Rajguru Dehydrates says it makes
Its GlobalLinker listing shows white, red and pink onion as powder, flakes, chopped, granules and mince, and garlic as flakes, mince, chopped, granules and powder. Garlic products are the most visible across its directory pages, and a TradeIndia listing adds toasted onion flakes. The listing states 101 to 300 employees; production capacity is not stated.
Its certification claims are broad. The listing says it is IFS, BRC (A grade), Kosher, Halal and USFDA certified, that its in-house laboratory holds ISO 22000 and uses NABL-listed equipment, and it shows certificate numbers beginning 16292 for BRC, FSSC and related schemes, plus a Spices Board registration and an FSSAI licence. Another listing names Star-K for Kosher, and its toasted onion listing refers to USDA Organic, one of the few organic claims we found among Mahuva-area plants.
What to verify before you order
With this many claims, check each against its own register rather than relying on the listing.
- Look up the BRC certificate in the BRCGS directory, the FSSC 22000 certificate in the FSSC register and the IFS certificate in the IFS database. Confirm all three name the same site address.
- If you want organic toasted onion, ask for the USDA organic certificate and search the USDA Organic Integrity Database; for the EU, ask about NPOP certification and a transaction certificate per lot.
- Ask which Kosher agency certifies it and for the current letter listing your products.
- The FDA registers food facilities but does not certify them. Ask for the registration number and the US agent's details.
- Its GlobalLinker profile mixes manufacturer and exporter tags with an automatically generated paragraph describing trading, so ask which plant produces each product and confirm the address on the FSSAI licence.
- Treat in-house lab results as a starting point and ask for an NABL report on a pre-shipment sample, including ethylene oxide and pesticide residues.
