According to its listings on B2B directories, Panchvati Export, part of what it calls the Panchvati Group, is a manufacturer and exporter of dehydrated onion and garlic based in Mahuva, Gujarat, started by a family that says it has traded raw onions for decades. We found no company website of its own, so everything below comes from directory profiles.
Creston & Co is not affiliated with Panchvati Export. This page is a buyer's guide based on public information.
What Panchvati Export says it makes
Its listing on B2Brazil describes dehydrated white onion as kibbled or flakes, chopped, minced, granules and powder, along with fried or roasted onion, garlic cloves and garlic powder. The same page says the plant has fully automatic dehydration machinery, a colour sorter, metal detectors and rare earth magnets, and that it exports to markets including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Russia and South Africa.
The listings do not agree with each other on several points. The B2Brazil header says "since 2016" while its own year-established field says 2010, and another profile says the group was founded in 2008. B2Brazil marks the company as unverified and says only that the facility follows HACCP and food safety management standards. A profile on Ingredients Network states that it is certified to BRC, FSSC 22000 and Halal. One listing claims a capacity of 17 MT per day; the others do not state capacity. B2Brazil lists both manufacturer and distributor or wholesaler as business types.
What to verify before you order
Because the public record is inconsistent, the useful checks here are documentary ones, done before samples or price talks go far.
- Ask for the BRCGS certificate and look up the site in the BRCGS directory. Check the grade, the audit date, the expiry and the exact site address it covers.
- Ask for the FSSC 22000 certificate and find it in the FSSC public register. If only HACCP can be shown, treat the BRC and FSSC claims as unconfirmed.
- Confirm the legal entity name and the plant address on the FSSAI licence and match them to the certificates. Directory addresses for this company vary, so ask which survey number the lot will be produced at.
- Its listing describes both manufacturing and distribution, so ask whether every form you want is dried in house, and which plant produces your lot.
- Ask about the 17 MT per day claim in terms that matter to you: how many tonnes of your grade it can ship in your window.
- Take a sealed pre-shipment sample and have it tested for moisture, microbiology, pesticide residues and ETO before you pay a balance.
- If you import into the US, confirm the plant's FDA food facility registration.
How we help if you want to buy from Panchvati Export
We can approach Panchvati Export on your behalf, visit the plant to see whether the sorter, drying lines and metal detection it describes are in use, and check each certificate against its official register. We collect sealed samples and test them at an NABL-accredited lab, negotiate terms, supervise loading and check the export documents, all for one written fee agreed in advance. You buy directly from the company.
If it turns out not to be the right fit, we compare it with other plants in the Mahuva cluster making the same dehydrated onion grade. You can see other manufacturers here, and our guide to trader or processor explains why the distinction matters.
