According to its website, Kirti Foods Pvt Ltd is a manufacturer and exporter of dehydrated vegetables and spices at Nesvad, on the Savarkundla road outside Mahuva in Gujarat, and it dates its foundation to 1993. Its listing on Nutrada describes it as "one of the largest manufacturer and exporter of dehydrated vegetables and spices in India", which is the company's own description.

What Kirti Foods says it makes
The company website lists dehydrated white onion, red onion and garlic, plus fried onion, toasted onion, other dried vegetables and Indian spices. Its directory listings give the forms as kibbled or flakes, chopped, minced, granules and powder, and its IndiaMART page adds pink onion. A capacity figure is not stated.
On certification, the website lists BRCGS, ISO 22000:2005 issued through SGS, Kosher, FSSAI, APEDA, Spices Board and NABCB. Its Nutrada listing names BRC and ISO 22000, and its Tridge profile names HACCP and GMP. The company also states that it has its own processing units, separate warehouses for raw material and finished goods, in-house laboratories testing for plate count, yeast and mould, coliforms, E. coli and salmonella, and raw-material storage that lets it supply out of season. Its directory copy says containers are stuffed at the factory.
What to verify before you order
Kirti Foods publishes more claims than most plants in the cluster, so the work is mainly matching each claim to a document. The public sources also differ on age: the website gives 1993 and also shows "10 years of foundation", while the IndiaMART page shows 16 years in business. That is probably old page copy, but it is worth asking which date refers to the current company.
- Ask for the BRCGS certificate number, the grade and the expiry date, and look it up in the BRCGS directory. Confirm the site address on the certificate is the Nesvad plant.
- ISO 22000:2005 has been replaced by ISO 22000:2018. Ask for the current certificate and check it with the issuing body.
- NABCB is the Indian board that accredits certification bodies, not a certificate a food plant holds. Ask which certificate that logo refers to.
- Check that the FSSAI licence is a manufacturing licence for the Nesvad address, and ask for the Spices Board registration if you are buying garlic.
- In-house lab results are useful, but ask for an independent NABL report on a pre-shipment sample covering microbiology, pesticide residues and ethylene oxide.
- If you ship to the US, ask for the FDA food facility registration number and the name of the US agent.
How we help if you want to buy from Kirti Foods
We can contact Kirti Foods for you, visit the Nesvad plant and its warehouses, check each certificate against the issuing register, and draw sealed samples for testing at an NABL-accredited laboratory against your destination's limits. We then help agree specifications and terms, watch the container being stuffed at the factory, and check the export documents before the goods sail. You buy directly from Kirti Foods; we charge one written fee agreed before we start.
If the plant is not the right fit for your volume or specification, we compare it with other manufacturers in the cluster. Our dehydrated onion page covers grades and forms, and our guide to BRCGS, FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 explains what each certificate does and does not cover.
