Buying from Ganga Foods: what to check and how we help

Ganga Foods lists dehydrated onion, garlic, fried onion and spices from Mahuva with FSSC 22000. Its listings disagree on some details, so here is what to check.

According to its Gulfood 2026 exhibitor listing, Ganga Foods is a manufacturer and exporter of dehydrated vegetables, fried onion, spices and dry ingredients, with a factory on Tokariya Mahadev Road in Mahuva, Gujarat. The listing also names a sister concern, K Veera Protein, which deals in peanuts, sesame, oilseeds and pulses.

Creston & Co is not affiliated with Ganga Foods. This page is a buyer's guide based on public information.

What Ganga Foods says it makes

The Gulfood page lists dehydrated onion as flakes, minced, chopped, granules and powder, plus dehydrated garlic, potato products, fried onion, dry ginger, and whole and ground spices such as red chilli, turmeric and cardamom. It gives the factory as Survey No. 435, Tokariya Mahadev Road, Mahuva, and names FSSC 22000, FSSAI, APEDA and Spices Board registration. Its company website did not load for us, so we relied on the exhibitor and directory pages.

The public listings do not agree with each other. A B2Brazil profile says the company is ISO 9001 certified, gives a founding year of 2016 and states that all consignments are stuffed at its own unit. Other listings give 2015 or 2018, and one directory describes it as a retailer in Bhavnagar. Capacity is not stated anywhere we found.

What to verify before you order

Because the listings conflict, the checks here are mainly about confirming what the business is and which entity you are contracting with.

  • Ask for the FSSC 22000 certificate and check it in the FSSC 22000 public register. Confirm the legal name, the Tokariya Mahadev Road address and that dehydration is in scope.
  • Confirm the plant address and licence type on the FSSAI licence. A manufacturing licence and a trading licence look different.
  • Its listings describe both manufacturing and trading, and the range covers onion, garlic, potato, ginger and spices. Ask which items are dried on site and which plant produces your lot.
  • Ask whether your contract and invoice will be with Ganga Foods or with the sister company, and check the exporter name on the IEC.
  • If you ship to the US, ask for the FDA food facility registration number for the Mahuva plant. None of the listings we read mentions one.
  • Test a sealed sample for pesticide residues, ethylene oxide and salmonella. See how salmonella is controlled.

How we help if you want to buy from Ganga Foods

We can contact Ganga Foods on your behalf, visit the Tokariya Mahadev Road site to confirm what is made there, collect sealed samples for an NABL-accredited lab, check the FSSC and FSSAI records, negotiate terms, supervise stuffing and check the export documents, for one written fee. You buy directly from the company.

If it is not the right fit, we compare it with other plants in the cluster. See dehydrated onion, dehydrated garlic, the list of other manufacturers and buying from a trader vs a processor.
