Can you get your logo stamped or engraved on jewellery?

Yes. Rajkot makers can stamp a logo on clasps and tags, cast it into the design, or laser-engrave it. Each method suits different pieces and order sizes.

Yes, you can have your logo put on imitation jewellery made in Rajkot. The common methods are a stamp on a clasp or tag, a logo cast into the piece from the master model, and laser engraving after production. Which one fits depends on the piece, the size of the logo and how many units you order.

Most brands start with a small logo tag on necklaces and bracelets, because it works across many designs and does not change the jewellery itself.

The main methods

  • Stamping: a steel die presses the logo into a flat area such as a clasp, tag or the back of a pendant. The die costs money once, then each stamp is cheap. It suits larger runs.
  • Casting: the logo is added to the master model so every cast piece carries it. It looks the most integrated but needs a new mould for each design.
  • Laser engraving: a laser marks the logo after the piece is made. There is no die, so it suits small runs and many designs, but the cost per piece is higher.
  • Logo tags: a small pre-made tag with your logo is attached with a jump ring near the clasp. It is flexible and easy to add to existing designs.

Practical limits

Imitation jewellery often has little flat metal to mark, so very fine logos lose detail. Keep the mark simple, ideally a short word or a bold symbol. Plating goes on after stamping or casting, so the mark must be deep enough not to fill in. Laser marks are usually done after plating and can cut through a thin top coat, so check how they wear.

If you plan to sell under a brand name, check that the mark is yours to use in your selling markets, and avoid logos that look like a known brand. Goods carrying confusing marks can be seized by customs.

Who owns the die

If you pay for a logo die or a mould that carries your logo, agree in writing that it belongs to you and may not be used for anyone else. See who owns a jewellery mould or die for how to set this up.

Approve the mark on a plated sample, not a raw one. Plating softens edges and can fill fine lines, so a logo that looks sharp on bare brass may blur once gold or rhodium goes on. Ask the workshop to send a photo under good light and a physical sample before stamping or casting the bulk.
